And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

Superbowl Food

My mind has already went to the Superbowl and food. I found some great recipes on the pioneer woman. God bless her. She has the greatest recipes. I know that many of us love her. If you haven't heard of her check her out. She is fabulous! What I love most is that she shows you what you need (with pictures, not lists). Then she shows you how to do things step by step (again with pictures not reading). Love it! I'm going to make these two things for Superbowl Sunday.
Now that I have mastered salsa (and I love my salsa!), I need to master pico de gallo and guacamole. I love both of these!!
I also love onion straws! I'm not sure if I'm making these for game day or not. But don't these look just yummy!!!! Of course anything fried is good. We don't fry much (hardly anything expect like bacon, sausage, and hamburger like for tacos) but man is fried stuff good!

I may have to do a test run on the onion straws to make sure they are good. wink, wink :)

Looks yummy, thanks for the birthday greeting. My mom is making me chicken and dumplings and I can't wait, also German choco cake from scratch. Only get it once a year.

Love a good German chocolate cake. Especially from scratch!
