And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

Getting Ready

Today most of my energy was focused on getting ready for this stink'n freezing rain we are getting tonight. They say we are getting over 1 inch of ice...yuck.. Wal-Mart was insane! I didn't even go to Mtn. Home. I went to Flippin. Still insane! I'm sure M.H. would have been worse. I got propane, milk, and all those iced in things. The blessing in all this is that since we are on city water we will have water pressure at least if the power goes out. I guess it's not the end of the world. No heat though..double yuck.

I got all my laundry done today (good thing). Just wanted to be prepared for the lovely coating of ice we will get soon.
