And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

Sweet Home Gassville Arkansas

It's good to be back home. We went to my parents on Friday night. Had a good time. Everyone was there. During our little visit (we were "supposed" to leave Sat evening..) we got some snow on Sat. we thought it would be like maybe 3 inches, which is really no big deal to drive in. However, 3 inches turned into 6. It snowed for hours and hard, so we decided to stay Sat. night. We didn't plan on staying until Sunday but, we weren't that upset because we were having a pretty good time with everyone. We wished we would have brought our snowsuits. Darn! It was a pretty snow. Livy was dying to get out in it.

Anyway..we ate good. Of course! When we all get together we cook. It's fun. Sat. I made cheesy chicken enchilada soup and some rotel dip w/chips. Grandma made a tomato bisque soup and some cornbread, and a dessert. This afternoon for lunch Momma made her awesome fried chicken and other sides. Oh my gosh...and a blackberry pie. My most fav pie!! It was of the pretties pies I have ever seen, and good. Momma makes some awesome looking pies. She could bake for Southern Living..no joke! Well anyway we didn't go without food! We love to cook together (prob already mention that one). We played cards and some chicken foot too.
Well, I need to get Liv into her p.j.s. John just left for his deacon's meeting and I MUST get out of these jeans and put on some comfies...My waistband is a bit snug...Hmmm wonder why??
