And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

Expecting Blessings

Blessings are pouring like rain at the Moeckel house! This weekend we went to John's family's house this weekend. We had a family get together Saturday with everyone and had a great time. Glad we got to see Granny and Gramps too. Granny hasn't been doing well lately. Her nurse came and brought baby bunnies and ducks for the kids too see. It was too cute!

Livy loved the bunnies! Put us in a Spring mood. Another awesome blessing is that John's sis was baptized this weekend. We got to go to church with them Sunday and got to be there for that. Afterward we went out to their new house that is being built, then on to lunch together at the Pasta House. God has been blessing us in so many ways this week.
Probably the best "expected blessing" is that.... I am "expecting" again! We have been trying since October. For a few weeks I had felt really draggy, bloated, and totally pregnant. However, my tests were all coming up negative (4 in one week. 3 came up negative and 1 didn't show squat!). A woman KNOWS, especially when she has been prego before! My doctor told me to give it another week before I came in to do blood work. So I did and well, I got my positive. We are so excited! The best part of it and BIGGEST blessing is that my friend Meredith is pregnant too! Hey Mere, I'm glad that you posted your news on your blog so that now I can share mine. This is a such cool story..I had been praying that for them to be pregnant (our friends had been trying for almost 3 years!) and been praying for a baby of my own. I asked God if we could be pregnant at the same time. Then, God did something better than I expected. I thought we would be probably 2, maybe 3 months apart. NO...Our cycles were THE SAME, we probably concieved days apart, and our due dates basically THE SAME! HOLY COW, GOD IS GOOD! Talk about ask and you shall recieve!
For the Lord is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation.
