And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

Christmas Tree Fever

I'm feel'n the need to put up my Christmas tree. Some of my friends have theirs up. I'm love'n their pretty trees and want to look at mine. I typically put mine up right after Thanksgiving so I can enjoy it for a month or so. John is off all next week so I'm thinking we may get stuff down a little early since he will be home.
Okay, I have to brag on my friend Adrienne. She has a pretty amazing tree. I "borrowed" this pic from her blog. Hope that's okay "A".?.? It's like a tree out of one of my favorite antique, nick-nack, decorating store Rusticities.
It's gorgeous! I'm sure this pic doesn't do it justice. Good job "A"! (P.S. I still love your tree topper-star thing.) You should do this for a living! Decorating in general!

Putting up the tree this year will be interesting and fun (can't believe it's time to do this again!!). Last year Liv really didn't care. She hated the prickly needles. She will love to help decorate this year! I think she will either rearrange the ornaments or take them off the tree and run off. She's good at running off with stuff.
