And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

Refreshed

Spring.. Ahhhh. That's more like it!! So glad it finally decided to get warm again. I love it when flowers, plants, and trees come back to life. Such a pretty time of the year. Everything is new again. Today, I opened up the windows and let the breeze come in. God is good. It's been a while since I have "wrote" with no pics to go with it. Can you believe it?! No pics... Oh well..

We have had an eventful week. Our church had revival this week and God's Word was brought to us by a very upbeat and charismatic evangelist. Now, I was raised a Baptist and still am a Baptist so charismatic and Baptist don't really go in the same sentence (LOL!). But hey, I enjoyed it and  we had a "Bapti-costal" week. No seriously, what a great serious of sermons and worship. God spoke and did some great things in our church and in my own heart.

Now that we are refreshed I look forward to a weekend with family and so extra time with my husband. He started working four, ten hour days which is so nice. Love having him home on Fridays. Looking forward to doing something out of the ordinary for a change. Much needed.

Psalm 63: 3-8
Your unfailing love is better than life itself; how I praise you!
I will praise you as long as I live,
lifting up my hands to you in prayer
You satisfy me more than the richest feast.
I will praise you with songs of joy.

I lie awake thinking of you,
meditating on you through the night.
Because you are my helper,
I sing for joy in the shadow of your wings.
I cling to you;

your strong right hand holds me securely.
