And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

Snow Day

And what a snow day it was. Wish we would have gotten more than a couple inches, but I guess I'll take it. John woke up this morning and decided to take a vaca day. He hasn't done that in forever (since all of his days later year were planned around Little Rock visits). So it was an awesome blessing! Livy loved the snow.
Livy and Daddy make a snow man.

Why didn't I get a better pic of the snowman? Who knows. Look between John and Livy. You'll see it. They played out in the snow for probably an hour or more. Which was good for me because I did some cleaning.

Starting with the carpet. Guess what this is? Let's just say Anna had another massive blow out! I say ANOTHER because the day before she messed all over another part of the carpet. It was all over her clothes, all in her hair, and yes, I wanted to vomit..So after scrubbing for awhile on yesterdays surprise, I decided to get out the "big guns"! Yep, the steam cleaner. I cleaned the entire living room carpet. Hey, being the "at home chick" has stinky times. Just keep'n it real folks... The living room carpet is lovely now and smells fresh.. You have no idea how bad I wish I could have hard wood floors (sigh..). That is NOT in the budget.. Praise the Lord for our steam cleaner.

While John and Livy played, and I cleaned, Anna did this... God bless her.
