And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

Bring The Rain

Typically I'm not one for rainy days, but today is so nice. The rain smells so good and my flowers and veggie plants are getting a good drink. I have had the windows open all morning. It's great! Well we still don't have our garden in yet (darn rainy weather...even though I just said I liked it...just for today anyway.) John has to get one more big scoop of dirt to top of the boxes then we will be ready for planting. Tomorrow I hoping to get everything in the ground. Should be a fun family project.

Still working on projects. I should start calling all this work "Project Baby". Although not everything we are doing is for baby. Really just half of it is. We're getting the garage in order. John got his work bench finished. Also, I'm planning on having our carpets cleaned next week. Between Livy having "accidents" and other toddler mishaps on the carpet and our kitty, it's time for a good steam cleaning! We also hope to get something lined up for our sunroom or addition soon. I also hope to get Liv's bed painted soon too. That's one thing we aren't doing (well two really. We aren't doing the addition either) Poor John is tired with all the yard word. God bless him! He is a trooper.

Actually, yes it can be tiring, but I actually enjoy getting stuff done. It just seems like, last week especially, there was too much going on at once. I just want to get-r-done, and it seems like the gardening thing is harder and more expensive than we thought.
