Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

I Love That Slide Mommy!

Livy says that to me when we venture out to the park. She's a funny girl! We had mommy group today so I thought I would post a few pics of our morning. It is a beautiful day outside. In the 80's, but very very windy.

About "The Chick"

The title pretty much says it all. I'm a stay at home Mom (and a wanna be domestic, cook and fabulous baker, photographer, and crafty lady). I've always imagined staying home, but never thought I actually would or be able to. Home is my favorite place to be. I hope you enjoy reading about what goes on during my day, foods I cook, a Bible study I'm doing, or maybe something crafty that come to fruition (sometimes I amaze myself!). I'm a wife to an amazing man, mommy of two beautiful girls, a daughter, sister, friend, and the list goes on.
