And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

Spring cleaning

I'm getting the itch to do some spring cleaning. We have had an old rod iron bed frame out in our garage. It was my parents bed when I was little. They had it out in their shed for a few years so it's kinda rusty. It needs a little work.

We have a friend that does paint work so hopefully we can get it worked on in a couple months. We'll probably have it all painted in white. It will be cute when it's done. This will eventually be Olivia's bed. We have a full-sized bed in the office/spare bedroom. That will go in Livy's room when it's done. I also want to somehow make a quit for the bed or have someone help me make one. (Carol, wanna help me with that? It could be fun.) I also need to work on that kids closet! I have to go through all her clothes and give some to Bethany. Lots of stuff to do.

Also I'm dying to get the carpets cleaned and move around the furniture. Spring cleaning is work. When Livy watches Cinderella I sometimes wish the talking mice from that movie would come do my spring cleaning for me...ugh.. I enjoy getting things in order. Honestly, it's therapeutic for me..Yes, I know that's weird.
