And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

Lots Happening

We had a pretty good weekend. Friday night we stayed at home and played in the back yard while John grilled some chicken. That was tasty! Then Saturday night we went out for some pizza and did a little shoe shopping. Livy loved it! She would pick up a shoe and say "cute momma". She even bawled and squalled (is that how you spell that?) when we would leave a store. Her words were "i shop!". She is so hilarious.

Then Sunday afternoon we went out to a farm that John hunts on and went for a walk. We saw turtles on the pond and all the flowers and Bradford pear trees that were in bloom. It was a nice walk.

Today I got my hair colored and cut thanks to my wonderful friend and hairdresser Amy Jines. It's pretty rock'n. Livy went to play with her friend Audrey while I was at the salon. She also got some hand-me-down summer clothes and jeans from her friends Audrey and Abby. I was so excited about it. Livy was more excited about Disney princess shirts and the Dora sundress. Really cute stuff. I LOVE hand-me-downs! I also made some oatmeal raisin cookies but I made them quasi-healthy. I put applesauce in them instead of shortening. Although they still have a stick on butter in them, but oh well. They are pretty good! I'm in the think of laundry too (sigh). Not my favorite house chore! I'm trying to get the laudry pretty well done because tomorrow Kim, Livy, and I are going to Springfield to go to some consignment shops to buy clothes for our girls. Guess I'd better get move'n then..
