And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

Rain Coats and Birthday Days

Do you have your rain coat on? It is really rainy here! It's been raining nonstop since yesterday afternoon. We have had over 3 inches of rain so far. It's whats left of hurricane Gustav. That crazy ol' Gustav. We needed rain so I guess it was a good thing. Not any flooding yet.

September is a very popular month in my family and friends for birthdays. John's Grandma's is today. Happy Birthday to her! Because this is a popular month for friends and family I'll have to find some really dorky pictures to post. If I have dorky pics....I'll look.
