And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

Bed Rest..Not So Fun...

Today my doctor put me on bed rest. I have had high blood pressure today, so John and I took a trip up to the Women's Center at the hospital for a non-stress test. BP levels were fine when I was in bed for a while, but doc told me that strict bed rest was best. I also had a couple contractions while I was there. I'll go back to the doctor this week for another check up. John has been the #1 hubbs! He made up a menu for the week and went to the grocery store. He's been great help lately anyway. I love him! Livy is at her friend Audrey's house for the night. I know she is having a good time! Well, I've been getting in some reading and "Little House on the Prairie". I sure hope I don't have to do this for 6 weeks. Yikes! During my quiet time this afternoon I read a verse that really stuck out to me. I love it how God does that for me in my time of need.

"You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me
with songs of deliverance."
Psalm 32: 7
