Crafty Momma

Well..I'm trying to be anyway. I couldn't find a lampshade at Wal-Mart that I liked (they don't have a good selection anyway). Plus, I didn't want to spend a fortune on a lampshade and I had something very specific in mind, so I made one! I also changed out Livy's ribbons on her letters that were in her "baby room" to match her "big girl room" now.

Bedazzeled! And VERY girly!

I'm so excited to get her big girl room fixed up! Hopefully we will get to paint furniture this weekend. Well..John's doing most of that. Don't want baby and momma to get high on fumes. Then after we get Livy room fixed up then I get to get out baby stuff again and fix Anna's room. I love this part of getting ready for baby. Love to fix up and decorate!

About "The Chick"

The title pretty much says it all. I'm a stay at home Mom (and a wanna be domestic, cook and fabulous baker, photographer, and crafty lady). I've always imagined staying home, but never thought I actually would or be able to. Home is my favorite place to be. I hope you enjoy reading about what goes on during my day, foods I cook, a Bible study I'm doing, or maybe something crafty that come to fruition (sometimes I amaze myself!). I'm a wife to an amazing man, mommy of two beautiful girls, a daughter, sister, friend, and the list goes on. I wear tons of hats, but my favorite hat to wear is being a "stay at home Mom", the at home chick.
