And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

Momma Remembers

This seemed very appropriate because Mother's Day is Sunday. One year ago today I had the scare that any mother would dread; the loss of a child. A certain doctor told me that at 11 weeks I had miscarried Anna. However, the next day I went in for an ultrasound and there she was alive and kick'n. The nurse said most women that have the experience I had with the enormous amount of blood loss, the baby is gone. But thanks to my wonderful, great, and faithful God we still have our Anna today. She is a sweetie! I would have never dreamed the journey that we were going to take with her a year later. God is STILL continues to be good.
