And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

Love Seeks to Understand

In our Sunday school class we are doing the "Love Dare" study. We are at the point on our study when we do the nice dinner thing either at home or out. We chose to stay home. I got out the nice dishes, white table cloth, candles, and the whole shabang. We had a great time together visiting and getting know each other more and what we want out of our personal lives and our marriage. We also had some great food!! I made some yummy artichoke dip for the appetizer. Then for the main course John grilled some bacon wrapped filets and bacon wrapped asparagus and made garlic mashed potatoes. Pretty darn good if I do say so myself. Then John brought home dessert.....he brought home those 150 calorie molten cakes in a bowl that you find in the cake/baking isle. Those are really pretty good and it was just the right amount of dessert. Way to go babe!

It was super tasty!

Beautiful dishes...aren't those pink roses? Enjoy the Love Dare! It sounds challenging, but fun.

Yes, they are pink roses. My Grandma Spencer gave me a place setting of six. She had them for me way before I was even married. I love them!
