And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

Turning A New Leaf

Well.. a leaf of organization. One of my pet peeves is clutter. Just ask John.... I really don't like it!! My house doesn't have much to hardly any of that, but I would like to be a bit more organized. It's a dream really. This is day one of my efforts. The "Fly Lady" says the first and most basic thing you can do is "shine your sink" so I did it. For the past day I have maintained it's shininess. Doesn't it look lovely!!! Thank you Fly Lady for inspiring me.

Speaking of my sink, this is a great sink accessory. This wonderful fall scent is "sweet cinannon pumpkin". It smells yummy! If you are in a Bath and BodyWorks get ya some. Notice mines almost gone. Sad...

Don't ya love how Livy has a cracker shoved in her mouth...Silly kid! Just thought I would throw that one in.

Aidan likes the pic of Livy with cracker, and your sink is shiny. What did you use?

What the Fly Lady suggests is first fill both sinks to the rim with very hot tap water and put a little bleach in either sink and let it sit for 1 hour. Second, rise well and use a cleaner like comet to clean it really well. Third, rise well and clean the faucet with a lime removing cleaner ( i use lime-a-way). Third, rise well then dry the sink and spray Windex, wipe that out. Then your done!! To keep it looking shiny, keep the dirty dishes out of the sink wipe after meals. So far it has been a good thing. So much happier with the condition with the sink!

I knew you did. I need to start using vinegar. You said you use it on your floors. I'll have to try that one.
