And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

Start Your Engines!

These are pics of the Awana Grand Prix at church tonight. It is similar to the Pinewood Derby (if you know what that is) Anyhoo...it is a fun activity where kids get to purchase a kit that contains a block of wood and other parts in it to build a car. They cut it out, paint it, put the other accessories on, and decorate it how they want, and we have a race. The kids really get into it. They had a great time. Here is just a few pictures. John said "All I took was 92 pictures." HOLY COW! I wasn't putting all 92 on here.

I haven't blogged in like 4 days!

Okay this is unheard of. I haven't blogged in 4 days!!!! What's the deal with that! We have been busy this week. John made a house-call and worked on a computer this week. I did a facial the same day. Yesterday I had a Mark Kay gathering with some ladies. That was fun. This morning Livy and I went up to the church for a couple hours and set up for the Awana Grand Prix. We have that going on tonight. I'll blog some pics from that.

Another exciting part to our week. I have been attempting to take Livy off morning nap and get her on 1 nap in the afternoon. Really it hasn't been too bad (except for when she gets cranky about 11:00..sigh). She is sleeping right now and Momma is going to lay down for a bit too!!

Our day at SDC

It was a great day to go to Silver Dollar City! The weather was so nice. We were able to see my sis Angela for a bit before going out to the park. We saw a couple of great shows. If you get to go before World Fest is over..GO! The shows are really nifty. One was a bit nerve racking. The acrobats from China..they made me really nervous. They were flipping around like no ones business. I hope they have good insurance...it was good anway. The steel drum show was good. The people were from Trinidad. It was good. Although we had to leave that one early cause Livy peed right through her pants. Big ol wet spot! What we heard was good anyway. We wanted to see the new Ireland show call Feet of Fire, but the line was crazy long and we weren't attempting that one.

Had a super time. Go if you get the chance. I'm tired. I'm going to BED.

Happy 27th Birthday Robyn!! I heart you!!

The Blow-up Jumper Thing..

These are the pics John took yesterday when we were over at our neighbor's house. She loved the blow up jumper thing. John took the pics with his cell phone so they aren't the best as far as color goes. But you get the point.

Pudding and Sidewalk Chalk!

We had fun today setting outside eating pudding and playing with sidewalk chalk. Here is our fun! Enjoy!

Lovely 82 degree spring day!

My azaleas are really pretty. Well, this one anyway. The others are catching up they are just a little slow. Hey, they have buds but haven't opened yet. Oh well they will peek their heads out then they are good and ready.

Livy loved it outside today. We went to a neighbor's house and they had an inflatable jumping toy. She loved that!! She was too hilarious in the thing. I wish I had taken pics of it but it didn't. Lora didn't go prepared...

Hope it is a nice weekend. We are going to Silver Dollar City to have some fun. We got season passes this year. Hope it doesn't rain!!!!!! That would stink!

I'm still tired from this weekend. I need to catch up on some MUCH NEEDED sleep. I don't know about you girls, but I need to go a serious diet after all I ate this weekend!! We ate way too much. It was fun though. I heart eating!

Tootles!

Women of Joy 2008

Friday afternoon 27 ladies from our church made our way to Branson. I rode with "the girls". We had a super great time!! If you have never been to a Women of Joy conference I recommend going. It was fun to be with my sister's in Christ, learning from God's Word, and being refreshed. We listened to speakers Priscilla Shirer (which I didn't get a picture of..I don't know why?) Lizz Curtis Higgs (didn't get any of her. where was I Saturday?), Kay Arthur, which is such and annointed women's speaker, and Karen Kingsberry. Karen is a author and writes Christian fiction novels. She really touched my heart. God used that sweet women to speak to me. She writes some tear jerker children's books too! Anyway...."the girls" and I had a great time shopping too!!! Which is one of my favorite things! My most favorite was seeing Jeremy Camp in concert!! He is such a great singer. He also has a powerful testimony. I had a great time. I really heart women's conferences!

Play and Lunch at Cooper Park

Livy and I went and played with Mere and Abby and Amy and Ben. Well...Livy didn't "play with them" much she really loved just setting on the slide. We also had a bite there too. It was a beautiful day to be at the park. It was fun! I really enjoyed visiting with friends. This stay-at-home Mom thing is really great!

Countdown continues!

Only 2 more days!

Livy one year ago

I'm not blogging anything really important....I just thought these pics of Livy from 1 year ago where so cute. These are a few of my favs from January to April of 2007.

Yogurt face

I let Livy feed herself today...or try anyway.

Our "Dam" Adventure (ha ha)

Yesterday John wanted to drive out to Norfork dam because the floodgates had been opened. We have a serious rain down here! We had 6 or 7 inches just a few nights ago. If you add that to the rain we have over the past month or so that equals "ton's O rain". The floodgates have not been opened since the early 90's. People that live along the White River had to be evacuated from their homes. A couple from our church had to leave their home. They just finished building along the river and had to get furniture out. They even had to rip up new carpet!! Pray for all the folks along the river.

Anyhoo..it was a real neat thing to see. I would have loved to had been there when they opened up the floodgates! Lots of gaukers (is that how you spell that?) there. Of course, our family was one of them.

Countdown to Women of Joy!

Next weekend I get to attend this conference in Branson with my girlfriends. Actually a big group of ladies from our church is going, but I will be driving and rooming with my girls. I'm so excited about this! There is going to be really great and encouraging speakers. I can especially get excited about Kay Aurther speaking and Jeremy Camp in concert (bring'n the camera for that one). I'll finally get to know who Karen Kingsberry is. My friend Sara thinks she is the greatest. 1 week and counting!

Abbie Elizabeth

John, Livy, and I took a meal to our friends today (Levi, Christina, McKenna, and new baby Abbie). Christina had Abbie a couple of weeks ago and she is a cutie. These are some pics of our visit.
Abbie looks JUST like her sister! Dark complexion too. So sweet! Livy loved on her too. I told Livy, "Sweetie she isn't one of your baby dolls this is real baby. We need to be gentle. Give her love." Livy went up to Abbie and put her head against Abbie's head and patted her. It was toooo cute!
I miss having tiny one!! She is so light!
Livy and McKenna were just too cute playing together.
This pic turned out a little fuzzy. Darn! John loved holding Abbie!
He remember what to do with the bink.

Sport'n a new "do"

Livy Grace got a haircut today. She is too cute! A special thanks to the awesome hands of Amy Jines (who did a great job as always!). I'm surpised Amy got it cut with Livy looking everywhere and saying "HI" to everyone.

Kansas won, YUCK!

We are bummed!! Good game though. It went into overtime. Memphis played great. Very close. Great game.

Memphis or Kansas...and other stuff

We are setting here watching the Final Four Championship game. I don't really watch sports unless it is "the important game"...other than that, don't watch sports so much. We are rooting for Memphis. Anyhoo.....did anyone get out side today and enjoy this awesome weather!! It was 75 degrees today. Really great! Livy and I visited the park..again. It was great!

This week at our church we are in revival. It goes through Thursday. All three services so far have been great!!! There have been 2 people saved and then a number of people baptized. Our speaker has been really awesome, very powerful. God has been speaking and bring people to realize their need of him. Which is so great!

Nother subject..... I am super excited about the new Indiana Jones movie (coming out May 22nd). Yes, I may be a nerd, but I love Indiana Jones!! One of my fav trilogies. Check out the new movie trailer.

Nifty huh! I'm so excited!

Date with Daddy

John and Livy had time together today. He took her to the Gassville park, then they went to Cotter and went to the park there. They had a great time and I'm glad he was able to do that with her. I would have loved to have gone but I was out of town. Daddy dates are important anyway!!!!!!

Mary Kay Career Conference 08

This weekend I went to Springfield with a few of my sister consultants for Career Conference. We had a blast! We heard our top National Sales Directors speak and we were very inspiring!! These ladies are awesome. It was so great to set through the conference, learn about how to grow my business, and also hear about the Lord. They strongly focused on keep priorities in order 1. Relationship with the Lord, 2. Family, 3. Career. The women that got up to speak gave God the glory for their business. Now, I know a lot of people say "I want to thank God" in their speeches, but this was so heart felt. These when had tears in their eyes and praising God. I am so blessed to be apart of a company who holds the Lord in the #1 place. It was awesome. My Sales Director Diane was recognized a few times. One time in particular was when our unit was recognized for being a "Cadillac unit", so our unit got to walk across the stage together. I had a great time! John and Livy were glad to see me, but as you can tell from today (park pics) they had a great time together too!!
