And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

What You See Is What You Get

We took family pictures last weekend. Really it was kinda frustating because the girls wouldn't cooperate AT ALL! Livy thought there were more interesting things to do..like play with leaves and sticks..you know, anything but wanting to take a picture. Plus the wind was nuts that day! We got some good ones of Livy in the beginning but after that..not so much.. At the end of it all I just had to laugh.. Anyhoo, here are some good ones that we did get.

Serious Protest

Anna has been doing PT for a few months now. She is doing so well and making progress. Obviously, she is not a fan..

Enough said..

Just Around the Corner!

Already thinking about Christmas cards. I don't know why? I guess because we had our family pics taken last weekend. Shutterfly.com has tons of cute cards. Oh what to pick? So many good ones!

I think I see a pattern.. All brown and red! Hmmm. Choices, choices.. So many great cards. Think I have found where I'm getting my cards this year. Prices are reasonable!!!

Mercy Me!

John and I went on a much needed date Saturday night to enjoy some hibachi food at Yoshi and see Mercy Me. It was an awesome concert. Great Worship! (Disclosure.. The far away ones are mine. I got the close up ones from Sara Kerr.. Thanks!)

We had a great time! At their live shows they sell all CD's for $5. That's awesome!

Flashbacks

Today in Sunday school a friend and I were talking about the baby showers we need to have for our soon-to-be-Momma's. We need to hurry before one of them pops! Then I was reminded of this..

Uh yeah, I'm glad I'm NOT pregnant. I don't miss that at all!! This time last year..it was bedrest for me. It really was the pits! Dang, I was out there!

A Long Weekend

Our road trip was so much fun! If you have never been to War Eagle and all the other craft shows in NW AR..you should go. Come next year! Of course the shopping, girl time, and having a much needed break was good too.. The weather was PERFECT I might add.

War Eagle Mill

Melly and I love the corndogs!!

I saw the cutest child's picnic table.

Of course I had to have a "mini chocolate mess" at Marketplace Grill! The regular one is huge.

Melly was talking to her hubby Sunnydale.. She looked like she could do an add for Dr. Pepper. HA! Actually we were waiting for the others to finish up at the Holiday Inn's Covention Center. That is my favorite place out of the whole weekend!

After I got back from my road trip, my family came in for some football and hot wings (Hogs lost..sad day.) on Sat. Mom, Angela, Buffy, and I took the girls to the berry farm to get some pumpkins. Least to say it was not fall weather. It was over 80 degrees and truthfully it was kinda hot. I was wanting to put a fall owl outfit on Livy, but no owl outfit was to be had that day.

Cousins

They loved to wash their "punkins"

Livy love the hay. I couldn't get her off of it. We can't wait to carve our pumpkins soon.

John and I woke up Sunday morning and decided it was too nice of a day to set in the house. So after church we drove up to SDC. What an awesome day for it! The park wasn't packed. Lines were short. We had a fun afternoon with the girls.

Livy loved the old school house. She also made friends with the girl setting next to her (of course..). When she meets another child she always says, "what's your name? i'm Olivia." It's cute. I do love how she relates to others.

Even though Anna has had some teething lately she was very content. Thank you Lord! The doc said she will cut her molars early and guess what..he was right. Her gums are well developed and very swollen and red in back. Crazy! She is only 11 months and already cutting molars. What in the world! Hey, I'm glad she is developing early in some area. Lots of love'n for her the past few days..

Livy and I do love the frog. As I said lines where short. So we rode and rode and rode everything.
 My crafty side comes out!
I saw these everywhere during the craft shows. Why spend the money when I can make them and it's super easy.
Livy wasn't cooperating for the camera. But she is cute!
PS. I do love how blogger has set up loading pictures now. So much easier don't ya think?.?

War Eagle Time!!!

I love fall and War Eagle!! I love the smells, the crafts, the food..it's lots of fun! Of course we don't do just the War Eagle part. There are many crafts fairs around NW AR. that are so much fun. My fave is the Holiday Inn Convention Center in Springdale. And of course, can't forget shopping at the Pinnacle Hills Promenade!!! Plus I get to spend a couple days with some super women. God even adds new women to the mix!  Last year was pretty fun. Got my list of things I need to "find". We'll see! This Momma needs some serious GIRL TIME! Oh Thursday, please hurry!!

Someone is 32!

Happy birthday to my sweetheart of a husband John. He really wanted a cherry pie for his birthday so being the good wife I am..of course I would make him one.

Project Bathroom Complete!

Thank you Lord! That's all I can say really.... If we keep doing building projects every year we won't having any money left. Andy Farmer may not be too happy with us. Oh well if ya gotta do it, ya gotta..

Tub is out.

Putting the pocket door in.

Tub is in and dry wall on. Starting to look like a bathroom.

I covered everything so our builder could texturize the walls. That junk sprays everywhere and honestly I didn't feel like washing all the stuff off my wood furniture. Even though it is water soluble.. Now that's protection!
Texturizing complete

Finished product!........

Pocket door in. It comes out from the wall. I don't have to deal with a door being in the way. I do love it!
5ft. shower unit
More lighting in our bathroom. Thank goodness!!
John is still working on the light fixtures..

Okay, funny story... We were not going to paint our room the same color as the bathroom. So when it was time to paint, I go out to the garage to find leftover green paint we had and to my surprise..hello...no paint. So either we try to match it (too complicated) or we paint it the same color as the bathroom. Which I kinda wanted to do anyway. Glad it worked out because I think it looks so good!

I'm so glad it is done! I was so tired of all the sheet rock dust and covering our bed everyday. We love it! That window that was there in the bathroom was a serious "thorn in the flesh"..
