And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

35 Weeks

At the rate I'm going my prediction is another 3 weeks. However, I have been wrong before, but with my contractions I'm hoping she will be a little early.

We Love Nana!!

We have LOVED having my Mom here these past couple days. She has been such a blessing and help. She has cleaned, done laundry, cooked our meals, and of course played with Livy. I got to have some peace and quiet yesterday while they were at the park. Livy will probably go spend a couple days with her and Papa next week (even more peace and quiet!! YAY!)

We Love Auntie Angela!

My sister came for the day on Saturday. She swept and mopped my kitchen floor and vacuumed the house. She even played with Livy most of the day. Thank you Angela! You're super!

Something To Do...

Thought I would update my blog a bit. Ya know, since I have all this time now to set around. It's not been that bad. Me and Livy play, watch movies, paint, and color. Of course, her favorite thing to do with me these days is eat popcorn and drink hot chocolate. We did that Monday night while "Dancing With the Stars" was on. She said last night, "Momma, can we drink hot chocolate and watch that dancing show." It cracked me up!! This time of relaxing has given me a lot of one on one time with her before Anna comes. Which she needs. Speaking of Anna..been crampy this morning and having some light contractions. Ughhhh... Plus she a mover! It's precious.

We are so blessed with awesome people that God has put in our life. Mainly our church family. Our friend and children's director Britney brought us supper last night. It was wonderful!!! We are going over Joe and Kim's for supper this weekend. Plus the we have heard some others talk about bringing food. We appreciate it tons!! My sister is coming Saturday to play with Livy and help out a bit. Then my Momma is coming off and on over the next 6 weeks. Since she isn't working she said she would come help and do some cleaning. Livy may go spend some time with her Nana and Papa for a few days during the 6 weeks. God is taking care of us as always. We know that He is using His people to show us His love. How awesome!! Had to get that praise out!

Thankful!

I went back to the doctor today and I'm not on strict bed rest anymore (thank you Lord!!!). YAHOO! But, I am on a modified bed rest for the next 6 weeks (basically until I have her). I'm thankful that I can move around a bit more than I have been able to. John has been so wonderful! He bought groceries yesterday, made supper, did dishes, and has been taking great care of me. Today he even came home on his lunch break and fixed me lunch. I love him! He has been doing a super job. He gets the husband of the year award!!

Bed Rest..Not So Fun...

Today my doctor put me on bed rest. I have had high blood pressure today, so John and I took a trip up to the Women's Center at the hospital for a non-stress test. BP levels were fine when I was in bed for a while, but doc told me that strict bed rest was best. I also had a couple contractions while I was there. I'll go back to the doctor this week for another check up. John has been the #1 hubbs! He made up a menu for the week and went to the grocery store. He's been great help lately anyway. I love him! Livy is at her friend Audrey's house for the night. I know she is having a good time! Well, I've been getting in some reading and "Little House on the Prairie". I sure hope I don't have to do this for 6 weeks. Yikes! During my quiet time this afternoon I read a verse that really stuck out to me. I love it how God does that for me in my time of need.

"You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me
with songs of deliverance."
Psalm 32: 7

Love These!

Thursday and Friday of last week I went to the craft festivals in NW AR. Had a great time and I found these. Couldn't pass them up.

I thought they were different and I loved the fact that they had the crackled look. I took the ribbons off of Livy's letters and put them on Anna's. Nice touch.

Little girl trying to climb in. She told me, "Momma, I can sleep with Anna."

Loves her sister's rattle. Well..it used to be her's.

Busy Momma..

And Daddy too! We finished Livy's big girl room. John painted the room a lovely shade of lavendar, got the bed up, and the dresser, night stand, and the bookshelf painted white. He did a great job! Livy loves it! She said, "thank you, thank you, thank you for my big girl room!" many times. I don't think she's all that heart broken about leaving her baby room. She's does pretty well in her bed. Hey, she hasn't fallen out (yet). Here is the finished product.

These are pics when John got the bed up. She was on it most of the day.

P.S. Thanks for our sweet friends the Chamberlin's for giving us Abby's old mirror. It's perfect for Livy's room!!

Well since Livy's room is complete (sigh of relief!!) I can move on to Anna's room. Oh my! Last weekend when we were in Branson, Jason and Buffy gave me baby clothes. Tons of baby clothes!! I got all of Livy's baby clothes back plus Bethany's! Least to say Anna will have more than enough clothes!! I just washed a tub stuffed full of 0-3 month clothes. It is very possible she won't wear the same sleeper twice! Although I do have my favorites.. Anna will be well stocked!
Livy really wanted to help me go through things, so as we were going through items she would say "look at all the baby clothes!!" She was right. Liv loved the boppy pillow. She thought it was an item that she could wear and float on at the beach. Funny kid!

A Lovely Branson Weekend.

Why did it have to end?? We had a super time and needed it. John's parents came on his birthday and got to have a meal and b-day cake with us. They kept Liv while we were gone. We did some Christmas shopping and got a lot of it knocked out. There are just a few more things I still need to get. We also got to spend some time with some family (Angela and Olin and Jason, Buffy, and Bethany). We loved getting to see them and go to SDC with them. We had a blast!

Birthday boy! He loves the movie "Mall Cop"
We got to see "Noah" the musical at the Sight and Sound theater while in Branson. My sis's boyfriend Olin hooked us up with tickets. Thanks Olin!! It was super!!
If you haven't seen it, you need to. Just a few pics of the theater..

I so LOVE this statue!! Especially the girl in the back laying her head on Jesus. It speaks volumes.
Our anniversary tradition for 7 years now. Eating at Big Cedar Lodge. Okay, our table was in front of a mirror. John has a halo of sorts. Don't let that fool you...
