And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

Princess Olivia

A sweet lady from church gave me this dress last night. Her daughter wore in a wedding and she thought Livy would love to play dress up in it. Livy loves to dress up. I love having a little girl!! Don't ya love all the jewelry..

Crafty Momma

Well..I'm trying to be anyway. I couldn't find a lampshade at Wal-Mart that I liked (they don't have a good selection anyway). Plus, I didn't want to spend a fortune on a lampshade and I had something very specific in mind, so I made one! I also changed out Livy's ribbons on her letters that were in her "baby room" to match her "big girl room" now.

Bedazzeled! And VERY girly!

I'm so excited to get her big girl room fixed up! Hopefully we will get to paint furniture this weekend. Well..John's doing most of that. Don't want baby and momma to get high on fumes. Then after we get Livy room fixed up then I get to get out baby stuff again and fix Anna's room. I love this part of getting ready for baby. Love to fix up and decorate!

Finished!!

Check this off the list of to-do's before Anna get's here. However, we really didn't have to "do" anything. But never the less done! Here are some pics of the new room.

Now, on to another room project; Livy's big girl room. Today, we painted her room (the old office/spare bedroom) a lovely lavendar color. It's going to be cute!

Okay, So I'm 30..

I have mixed feelings about this...really. My 20's went by WAY too fast. I have people telling me that life will go by faster now, especially since I have kids. And, the more kiddos we have the faster it goes. Thanks folks...(well really the thanks should go to Dr. Lawrence) On the other hand, my 30's could be great! Okay..having a hard time with the great part, but I'm trying to keep it all in the positive. I told John last night that in your 20's life is exciting. For example.. you're single (if you don't marry in late teens of course), in college, looking forward to finding "the one" and daydreaming of marriage, getting married, then daydreaming of having babies etc. Okay.. so I'm in my thirties..I've already done all that. Now what? Okay, back to the positive..Alot of wonderful things have happened in 10 years; like moving to Springfield MO. at 20, meeing John when I was 22, got married when I was 23, graduated Bible college when I was 25 then moved to Mountain Home where I was blessed to have the greatest job and the best church family ever! Then had our sweet Olivia when I was 27, got to be a stay-at-home-mom at age 28, then got pregnant with our Anna at 29. Lots have good stuff has happened and Lord willing, I'm going to enjoy watching my girls (and maybe another one day..a BOY perhaps??) grow up. Folks also say that this is the most fun time when your kids are little. What a blessing that will be! Plus, I get to spend my thirties with one of God's biggest blessings, John. God has been so good to me in my 30 years. So I have come to the conclusion that HE will make the next 30 just as great as my first. Hey, I did get a super b-day present yesterday..our room is pretty much done. Carpet was laid yesterday and the room is a lovely shade of butter yellow. Can't wait to move stuff into it!
Happy 30 years to me!

Labor Day Weekend

My family reunion at Windermere was this weekend. We had a great time!!! I'm always sad when it's time to leave. Seems like it goes by way too fast. Here are some family pics taken of the weekend. We had a t-shirt made for our 20 years of reunions at Windermere.

Grandma Bearce and children

Gary's family w/ my cousin's spouses

Janet's family (the kids are my cousin Matthew's kids. He and his wife didn't come this year.)

Denise's family pic should go here. But for some reason we didn't get that. Hmmm..don't know why???

My momma, Deanna's family w/ spouses and my sis's boyfriend. Plus I'm not the only one expecting. Buffy is expecting another baby too!! Due in April! YEA!!

Connie's family

Darrell's family

Grandkids (2 of my cousins couldn't make it.)

Grandkids, Great grandkids, and spouses of my cousins and brother. After we left yesterday morning we drove through Fair Grove and went by our old house. The people that live in it now haven't taken good care of it, so it looked pretty run down. We were kinda sad about that. Since we were going through Branson we decided to go to Target (I needed some maternity jeans and some flatter shoes...bad!), and SDC. Livy was so excited that she was going to go ride the frogs and bugs. We came home feeling refreshed and great weekend with family.
