And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

20 Years at Winderemere

We are excited that this weekend is my family reunion. We began going Windermere Baptist Assembly as a "family" in 1989. It was that year that we celebrated my Grandpa and Grandma Bearce's 40th wedding anniversary. This is a picture of my cousins and I then..For some reason I can't find any pics of us today. Which is strange because we take pics every year. Anyway..in the picture, I'm holding my little brother Brian. I was kinda on the chubby order..this was my "awkward phase".

We are going back to Windermere this Friday and we are super excited! We always have a blast! We are staying in Koehler Lodge again this year.

We are going to have t-shirts made this year in honor of the 20 years we have been going to Windermere. We plan on wearing them during family picture time.

Let this be recorded for future generations, so that people not yet born will praise the Lord. Psalm 102:18

Your faithfulness continues throughout the generations. Psalm 119:90

Time for an Update!

I totally needed to be more on the ball this week, but I wasn't so here goes...
Last weekend we went to John's parents house and we celebrated my nephew Alton's 4th b-day. He had a transformers b-day party. And his momma did a good job on the cake. :)
Livy loves her cousin!

I have not taken a belly pic since I was just about 18 wks. It's amazing how much Anna has grown in 9 weeks.

The house in coming along great! Been wanting to update, but I wanted wait until the builder got a bit more done on the room. He pretty much finished the outside. Everything should be done this week. :)

Livy cheese'n it up.

Getting Close!

Our builder Terry said that our room should be done next week!! YAY!!! Should have taken pics of the outside too. The patio was poured the other day. Oh well, I'll do that later..

Twix was curious so I had to lock him in a room while Terry worked. I let him out for a bit when he took a break. He had to snoop around.

Livy loves the room. She said "this is great momma!" Now I can't wait to get started on Livy's purple room!

Rainy Day Ramblings of a Pregnant Woman

It is sooo rainy here today. It stormed quite a bit last night (I knew this because I was up for two hours early this morning...darn pregnancy induced insomnia!). Our builder can't do anything today because of all the rain too. Our windows were put in yesterday YAY! He also began to sheet rock. He wanted to finished that up today and move the doors to the new doorway and remove the kitchen window to sheet rock around that. Last night we had a family outing to Lowes and the carpet place (sounds fun huh....). We picked out a ceiling fan, blinds, and all that kind of stuff. Terry (our builder) said he should be done with the room in about a week and a half to two weeks. Well, provided it doesn't rain a lot. We are supposed to have a 6 day dry spell after this crazy rain goes through. Hope to get some new pics of the addition and get them posted soon. A lot has been done since I posted last!

Anna has been kick'n up a storm lately! She is quite the kickboxer! I'm 25 wks and I can tell she is growing a lot. That means she will run out of room to move soon. Guess I'd better get some stuff done while I'm not so tired yet. I guess I could clean out some closets to keep me occupied on this rainy day. Besides what with the room being near done we will start moving stuff out of the office and fix Livy's new room and get the baby room ready. Glad I decided to keep Livy's old ladybug bedding.

On another note..I love it when God gives unexpected blessings and provides! I found some money I didn't even know I had this week. John may have a second job at the hospital doing some work for them. Not anything full time, just a project. He has also gotten a couple computers to work on last week and he did a house call this week for another computer job! God knows what we need and when we need it. My Grandma Norma always said to me (and still does) God always takes care of His own. I have witnessed this first hand in years past and especially lately.

And my God shall supply all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.

Waiting on Windows..

They should be here in a week or so. The roofer came and put the shingles on yesterday. Looks like part of the house to me.

Home Makeover: Moeckel Addition Cont.

This is exciting. We are just about two weeks away from the room being completed. It is looking really great. I'm looking at paint colors and some kind of curtains. I'm thinking toile or paisley print valances (either black and off white or yellow and red). I'm painting the room a very light color. Kinda sandstone/yellow looking. It will be pretty! We can't wait to begin using our room. It will be nice.

Yesterday I turned my attention to Olivia's room. I have been eyeing a comforter set at the bargain store by D&T's for a while. It's bran-spank'n new and in the bag! It's soooo cute! I have decided not to go with the black and white that is in there now. I can't get over the fact that it's not very girly. I love it and it's cute..just not girly. John told me to fix it girly for her so I am!! Here is a pillow sham out of the set and the paint color we are using in her room. I'm going to make a valance to put on her window (well with Ms. Kathye's help) probably the color of the green that is on the ruffle (looking for contrasting poka dot color or something..) with a white sheer curtain. Her room will be precious!

Exciting!!!

Love Seeks to Understand

In our Sunday school class we are doing the "Love Dare" study. We are at the point on our study when we do the nice dinner thing either at home or out. We chose to stay home. I got out the nice dishes, white table cloth, candles, and the whole shabang. We had a great time together visiting and getting know each other more and what we want out of our personal lives and our marriage. We also had some great food!! I made some yummy artichoke dip for the appetizer. Then for the main course John grilled some bacon wrapped filets and bacon wrapped asparagus and made garlic mashed potatoes. Pretty darn good if I do say so myself. Then John brought home dessert.....he brought home those 150 calorie molten cakes in a bowl that you find in the cake/baking isle. Those are really pretty good and it was just the right amount of dessert. Way to go babe!

It was super tasty!

We are super excited!
