Mommy and Me Play Group

My friends and I have talked about starting a "Mommy and Me" group for a while(they were waiting for me to be finished with work, which by the way, I am officially a stay-at-home Mom as of yesterday) and we had our first play group today. We had a good time. Our kids are so cute! The fellowship with the girls was great!

My Beautiful Rusticities Cabinet!!

This is my new cabinet! I got at my favorite store Rusticities!! I love it!!!! I have been wanting it for a while to put all our DVD's in. My sweet hubby let me buy it today because we finally had the money to buy it. He is quite the budgeting man. Isn't it a great cabinet!! Now our DVD's aren't crowded in our little T.V. cabinet. Plus it is way cute!

Two more days!

These are some sweet pics I took this morning before we went to Ms. Lily's (her sitter). The pig tales were too much. As the title of todays blog states....I have only two more days until I get to stay home with Miss. Cuteness herself! I mean really....who wouldn't want to stay home with her. I could just pinch her cheeks!!! (but I won't)

The Countdown begins!!

I'm too excited! Three more days!This is my last week here at East Side Baptist as the children's director. However, it is bittersweet really. I will greatly miss these amazing people that I have worked with and served God with on a daily basis. These people have been my family and friends for the past two and a half years. It feels like they have been apart of my life longer than that. I don't know how people that don't have a church home and Chrisitian friends live life on a daily basis. Truthfully they can't! Not on their own anyway. Anyhoo, I am going to miss them, but I look forward to what God has in store for our family this coming year. Pray for us. Thanks. Well I need to get on with the day. So much to do and God only gives us a short time during the day. I need to make the most of it. BYE!

Odds and Ends

The slide show below is pics from this past month. Some fun times that we shared with friends and just being at home with "the fam". We have had a great day around here today. John and Livy are eating popcorn at this very second. She loves popcorn!! John and Livy say hi! As my friend Kim says "hope you all are having a groovy day." We are getting ready to go to church in a bit. Our church is having a reception for me after church because this is my last official week at my job. As of next Monday I will be "the stay at home chick". God Bless.

Kisses and cards

I thought this was a very appropriate way for this chick to open up my first post on the blog. I love these pics!! She loves to kiss Mommy and Daddy! I took this pic last night after supper time. She was so animated and incredibly cute!! We had a great evening last night. We had friends over last night for supper and to play nerts (love that game!!). We invited our friends Joe and Kim (that live around the corner and down the road from us) and Eddie and Vonda (our music minister and his wife). If you haven't played nerts you REALLY should. Too fun!
